Radiation effects in the simulation of tunnel fires
Abstract:
In this talk we show radiation effects in the simulation of tunnel
fires.
The flow in tunnel is modelled by a low-Mach number asymptotic model.
Radiation and fire are incorporated in the model as source terms in the
continuity equation.
The resulted flow equations are numerically solved by
applying a modified projection method based on the MAC scheme. At the
end, two simplified fire events are simulated and discussed.
