Abstract: Structure formation developments governed by diffusive phase separation typically exhibit time scales differing from each other of several orders of magnitude and are driven by coupled spatial mechanisms of various physical nature. A class of approaches that account for those effects will be presented. The role of (macro)molecular scale will be discussed.
